Contributing to Flood Relief
Over the last few days, Eastern Kentucky has experienced catastrophic flooding that has devastated our members in the flood zone. This flooding has been unlike anything communities in Kentucky have ever seen and rescuers are working tirelessly to mitigate the damage caused by this unprecedented tragedy, but it is expected that hundreds of people will lose their homes.

Our hearts go out those who have lost their homes and loved ones amidst this tragedy. This Sunday, we are sending a team of staff members to the site of the flooding in Eastern Kentucky with water and cleaning supplies to aid in the flood relief.
If you are a member of SEIU 1199 who has been impacted by the flood, please reach out to Sherri McKinney at (304)-840-5993 for additional details on how SEIU 1199 can help provide aid for you and your family.
If you have not been affected by the flood and want to contribute to flood relief efforts, we have identified an urgent need for clothing of all gender and sizes. If you wish to contribute, please send or drop off any clothing you intend to donate to our Huntington office located at 501 5th Ave, Huntington, WV 25701 Monday thru Friday from 9 am to 4pm.
