Working People Have Voted and Decided

Workers of all backgrounds across the country have been doing everything they can in this pandemic to keep the country safe, healthy, and moving forward. In one of the most important elections in history, working people have also stepped up by engaging in the political process and voting in record numbers.

This historic turnout says the following: respect us, protect us, and pay us. The votes of working people must be counted and respected. Will you join with fellow workers at a rally near you on Saturday?

Our votes have made a difference. We voted for a $15 minimum wage, union rights, health care coverage, and a society with equity. We voted to protect frontline workers with needed personal protective equipment, paid sick leave, hazard pay, and a national plan to solve the COVID-19 pandemic. We voted for unity and a country that is inclusive.

That’s why we voted for Joe Biden and Kamala Harris. Will you stand together with me to rally and demand that all votes are counted and respected?

Together, we will declare victory against the pandemic, in addition to the economic and racial inequality that made it so much worse. We will keep fighting until all workers are respected, protected, and treated fairly. We will defend our right to choose who leads our country.

In Solidarity,

Becky Williams – President
