If you aren't familiar with the Member Connector program, Member Connectors help build strong, personal connections at their work places by regularly communicating with no more than eight (8) members. It is easy, and probably something you already do, and takes mere minutes.

MPOs talk to each other Here's how you can become a Member Connector  in the New Connections Network!   First, download the  Member Connection  application as a Connector Application - Word Document Word Document  or print it off as a  Member Connector Application - pdf pdf file.

What is the difference? If you have Microsoft Word, you can fill out the application on your computer, then print it off and sign it. With a PDF, you need to print out the application and then fill in all your information. If in doubt, PDF is your best choice .

No matter which format you choose, you need to mail the application to our office. Once we receive your application, you will receive an email (or regular mai if no email) your username and password. Then you can  click here to get to the MC home page. Sign in and off you go!

Need computer training?
SEIU District 1199 offers free, basic computer training classes for all Member Connectors. When a group of five to 10 Member Connectors in one area want free, basic computer training, they should contact their Administrative Organizer or Al Bacon. Basic Microsoft Word and internet training will be arranged.

Additionally, all members, family and friends of members can attend the basic computer training for only $25. The number of slots available for the $25 computer training class depends on how many Member Connectors sign up for the class.

If the training class is provided by the Ohio Community Computing Network and held at their facility, once someone attends their first class, they can return to future classes for free! This way, you can learn how to use a computer and gain valuable computer skills for yourself, your family and coworkers.

That's not all! The Ohio Community Computing Network facility where you received your computer training will have open computer time so you can use their computers if you do not have one at home! Check out the  Ohio Community Computing Network web site to learn about the non-profit organization helping to train our members.
