Fight for $15 Moves One Step Closer to Victory

Through a vote of the people, nearly 100,000 working people in Cleveland could see a raise.

CLEVELAND, OHIO – Over 600 working women and men fighting for $15 and union rights joined SEIU District 1199 WV/KY/OH members in Cleveland to send a message to Cleveland City Council that enough is enough.

Now is the time politicians take a stand and support the nearly 100,000 workers in Cleveland paid less than $15 an hour. Our movement has established a powerful voting bloc demanding support for our Fight for $15 Voter Agenda, which includes higher pay, union rights, and addressing racism.
